A Steam powered Viking Ship - why not? Adapt the lines of a Viking karv by modifying the stern for screw propeller. Set the LOA at 22' and the beam at 7'. Remove the mast and oar holes and install a Steam Engine and Boiler. Total weight to be about 1500# so that an Ericsson "Monitor" type engine will drive her at 6 knots. Updated December 31, 2008.
